Stephen White's Dr. Alan Gregory novels never fail to please. They're tense, taut, and smart. I have been known to wander from room to room, reading, unable to put one down.

BLINDED is very different from the others in that it is not told just from Alan's POV, but also from the POV of his police friend, Sam. The ending is as well-paced as all of White's books; this was the first time, however, that I actually understood what was happening before he told me. I don't know if he's getting more predictable, or I'm getting better at sleuthing!

Anyway... it being about a psychologist and all, I plan to leave this in the waiting-room when I go to see my therapist tomorrow! Do pick it up if you're anywhere nearby, it's a terrific read!
