STILL LIFE WITH WOODPECKER
1 journaler for this copy...
I actually read this back in high school, but I'm a packrat and somehow noticed I had 2 copies of this when I was looking for books to donate to the USO. Anyhow, I really liked this book so I thought while I was at it I'd label it. (Most of the other stuff was along the lines of popular novels I ended up hating, stuff I rescued from the trash, quite a few AAA Guides from my vacation last year, etc.)
I'd say that the one problem with Tom Robbins is that he develops crushes on his main characters. It tends to get in the way. But regardless of this one quirk he is quite a beautiful novelist in ways I won't bother to describe... the point is that if you found this book you should read it as soon as possible, it won't take long and you're almost sure to love it.
