This is a signed copy that I found in a charity shop. The cover art is actually the bridge picture shown here, not the green one.
I have to say that this is my favourite of Kate Atkinson's books, mostly for it's wonderful depiction of university life in Dundee.
03/02/06 This book is now part of a BookRing. It started its journey to kizmiaz in Portugal some time last week.
The next BCers to receive it are:
nikel27 in Germany
Hellie in the UK
and hshah in India.

Got it, thanks kohana. Still have one to read before I start on this one, it won't take long.
This is a very funny book, but not laughing-out-loud-all-the-way-thru funny. I enjoyed the way it’s written and how the various stories unfold, the different kind of lettering used makes sure you never get lost in the plot (is there one?).
The college part of the story is really raucous and you have to love Terri, Chick, Bob, Kevin and Professor Cousins. These characters are unbelievably weird and we have to wonder how could they get anything done, but of course most of them didn’t.
I really had a good and relaxing time reading it.
And don’t forget just because you’re paranoid it doesn’t mean that they’re not out to get you.
On its way to nikel27 (23.02.2006)
