Bill Bryson is an author that you will constantly be confronted with in any bookshop. Having known how popular he is and been told about his entertaining books, I have to say that I was slightly disappointed to find his stories not nearly as amusing as expected. I gave up reading this book rather quickly.

Yeah! Saturday 23December 16.00: Wooden bench at Kapellbrücke. A book was there, a special book, a book from BookCrossing...great...my sister and me, we were surprised! This is our first book which we found. Thanks. The idea from BookCrossing is great!

I`m so glad I read my e-mails before I did my shopping yesterday. Thanks to the release alert I changed my shopping route and luckily the book was still there, great! As I really like Bill Bryson`s style I`m looking forward to reading it. Actually I had already tried to catch it in December but was a bit too late.

To be quite frankly, it wasn`t that funny as I expected it to be, so I was a bit disappointed!
