The concluding book in the Farseer Trilogy. Fitz is back from the dead, but cannot reveal his identity to the people he loves; instead, he journeys with Nighteyes to help King Verity finish his quest to rid the Six Duchies from the Raiders.

A great conclusion - I was gripped throughout, even when thinking that the story could have been edited. Robin Hobb is a great fantasy author - her characters are wholly believeable, with warmth and humanity sitting alongside bitterness and tragedy.
