I really liked this collection of Ferlinghetti poems. The beat poets were all over the chart in terms of talent, but I think this guy was a genuine talent. Some of the poems in this collection truly resonate with the wordsmithery of genius, (and to be fair, some is kinda silly and lame too). Anyhow, I liked reading the poems in this book, and I hope that whoever else finds it on the bookshelf does too.
This has sat largely unread on the bookshelf in my classroom for at least 12 years. I suspect that it has been there much longer than that. I thought I would clean it up, give it a BCID and see if anyone is interested in it!

Pretty good collection of poetry. Really surrealistic. It seems as if ferlinghetti is reminiscing about a lot of his childhood emotions/childhood innocence and correlating it with his adulthood and his surroundings. Quality/unique poetry.
