On her tenth wedding anniversary, a woman discovers that her marriage is not what she thought it was and that her husband has been unfaithful.
This book was written in the 1920's. The book was rather uninteresting until the final 60 pages of the books. Then the action was interesting enough to capture my attention. The events of the novel take place during a 24-hour period. By the end of the novel, the young protagonist's outlook on life has changed considerably. She has been confronted with irrefutable evidence of her husband's infidelity although there are signs that he has been unfaithful in the past but she was in a state of denial. Her outlook on life changes considerably and she is desperately unhappy at the end of the book. However, she will gather her resources and carry on, like most of us.
