The Princessa: Machiavelli for Women
2 journalers for this copy...
Bought @ Buecher Brocky in Zurich, an enormous and fantastic second hand bookstore :-)
This looked like a promising book, but was pretty vague on the actual details of how to gain and use power as a woman. Pretty disappointing. It did have a few useful ideas, such as the idea that we should take what we want and what we need and use this to ours and other people's benefit.
"She knows that to nourish herself is to take responsibility. When she takes, she is sure she wants what she can have, that she can eat it all, that she will waste none of it. A job, a love, a compliment: assimilate them deep into your marrow as if they are yours by the divine right of being alive."
