This book was very generously sent to me by jamesmum. I have recently have become interested in trying out the Discworld books so I am excited to try this one out. I will probably read this next after my current read.

Thanks so much for sending this jamesmum.

This was a book that I was very interested in trying, but wasn't positive I would like. Its very different from the other types of books that I read. I found the book to be very imaginative and fun. It was an easy read that was funny at times and not very difficult to get into. I enjoyed this a lot and will look for other Discworld books to try in the future.

Thank you HopKnot! Also thanks a bunch for the postcards. I haven't read Terry Pratchett books before, so I will read it before letting it go into the Fantasy/Sci-fi VBB.

this as from all the discworld novels my least favourite. being teh first one of the series makes me think that prachets fantasy world got a lot better whit time.

i had it reserved for the indicisives group exchange and sealed uo to o to the post a long time ago. unfortunatly i ahd some personal issues to solve and I've been away from bc for a lobg time. I'm finally sending it to zosime.

Thank you! A friend of mine is always reading excerpts of Discworld novels to me, so I think it's time I started reading them all the way through.

This was the first Diskworld novel I read, and I really liked it at the time. It is so clever and very different from other fantasy I had read with just enough absurd humor to keep me entertained but not so much that the story became silly.

Now that I've read a few more of his books, I have to agree with Butterfly-Noir - Pratchett's writing has certainly improved with practice! Still, you have to love the luggage. (Just love it from a safe distance.)
