This Book is Currently in the Wild!
1 journaler for this copy...
This book is a gem. The marriage of story and illustration is sublime.
The author is a lawyer, and her story is very useful in teaching children negotiating skills and how to stand up to authority appropriately. The twist at the end is delicious!
The illustrations are even more riveting. On one page, Farmer Brown's impotent rage is shown with nothing more than a shadow.
This author and illustrator have collaborated on several other good books, but this one is the best!
Somehow we ended up with two copies, so we are releasing the second into the wild.
