Synopsis: A young, gorgeous woman with a black belt in martial arts finds herself transported back to ancient times after sleeping at an ancient ruins site.

Why i didnt buy it: It was unbelieveable enough that Tory ends up attracting and marrying the future King (how convenient), but the fact that she teaches these ancient people to "high five" and trains the King's army in martial arts techniques, is just ridiculously wrong and obnoxious, in my opinion. She is also credited as introducing the game of Chess to their world, plays them tunes on her CD walkman, teaches servant women how to fight and win against the King's trained army and as Queen, introduces a whole heap of laws in the flavour of women's rights to a culture where women were not worth much and wives were bought. Apart from being annoyed that the "heroine" was changing the course of the future by her interference (and everyone knows that if you go back and change the past, it changes the future in weird and bad ways - duh!), the writing was easy to read and the story interesting enough to follow. If you are able to get over the flaws in the character's ego and just enjoy the story, this book is for you!
