While browsing the sale shelves at the library, noticed this big grocery sack of books for a dollar. How could I not buy it?

3/29/06 I'm about 2/3rds of the way through this book so am marking it available.

Well, for most of the book I was a little bored, and it just didn't really hold my interest. When there was conversation involved it really picked up, many of the characters are very witty and amusing. But the story itself dragged.

Hopefully, chevygoddess will enjoy it more than I did!

6/16/06 So far I find this book boring, the author introduces too many charcaters into the plot and then describes them at great length, with no contribution to what is really going on in the book.

6/21/06 Well unfortunately I didn't enjoy this book. I found it really hard to follow when so many characters are in the book that seem to have nothing to do with one another. I hoped that the book would focus more on solving the murder that took place in the first couple pages, but instead more detail went into describing people and places not to mention many sexual encounters. The murder is mentioned in the last few pages, but the ending just seemed to convinent.

(A word of caution to the next reader Extreme Sexual Content. At least as far as I'm concerned)
