Second Thyme Around

Not often am I utterly charmed by a romance novel, but this book from Katie Fforde is definitely charming.
The heroine is the type of strong independent woman I like to read about. Her ex-husband is a jerk, who reveals himself to at least be less of a jerk than he was when he was married to the heroine. There is a feisty old lady, as well as a pleasant cast of supporting characters.
This is one of those light, fun reads - kind of like popcorn for the brain (as opposed to other romance novels that are more like cotton candy - fluffy but ultimately unsatisfying).
