Track of the Cat

My mother-in-law lent me a Nevada Barr book and got me hooked.
Track the Cat is the first in the series, and it's quite good. The story is compelling, the mystery good enough to hold you until the end, and the end is satisfactory. I enjoy the National Parks settings of the books, especially since the maps for the parks are available online.
Anna Pigeon is a good heroine - no shrinking violet, with a slightly mysterious past (that is explained further into the book). She's no nonsense, but has a friendly side to her.
Altogether, I'm interested in reading more of Barr's novels.
