Thanks so much TinkEsq! Even though my birthday is still 2 weeks away,I couldn't resist opening the envelope. :oD

This will be the first Neil Gaiman book I'm going to read.

I know that he wrote a book with Terry Pratchett (one of my favourite authors) and that he is very popular and gets great reviews...Just looking at the 5 pages of blurbs,I'm sure I'm not going to be disappointed. I have a few bookrings and rays to get through before I start reading this book though.

I loved this book. It's the first of gaiman that I read and I'll be looking for more!

I always loved mythology so it was really interesting to see the old gods as gaiman describes them at the same time magnifique and a bit goofy, also the new powerfull gods created.

Afraid this just wasn't for me after all... this type of story is great in comics, but just doesn't sit right for me in a novel.

Will be sending to apolonia (Lynn, Massachusetts, USA) as a surprise RABCK, with Lullaby, via Sunlightbub in West Kirby, Merseyside, UK (thanks, Sunlightbub!).

I have never read anything by this author, but I've heard great things so I wanted to try some of his work. Not sure if it's the book or the author but I just couldn't get into it. It wasn't horrible, I just wasn't compelled to keep turning the pages. I got about 100 pages in, and if it was 300 total I might have pushed myself to finish it, but at almost 600 pages I just couldn't do it. I will be releasing it eventually, possibly at the 2008 convention in London.

First, I want to thank AliceF for giving this book to me, and second to Sunlightbub for sending it. Thanks!!
I am sending it to my niece in Bethel, Maine. Make sure to let me know what you think Arie, maybe I'll be inspired to finish it later on. Enjoy!!
