My sister in IL (cyper-librarian) saw this book was released in Goshen. It is on her wish list. So she emailed big sister to go and try and find it for her. The only hitch--I was on vacation and took 4 days to get back and read the email. But being the good sister that I am I went right down and found it!!!!!! After reading the back I just might have to read it before I give it to cyper librarian. This is so much fun.:)

While holding this book for my sister I just had to read it. It was great. Mystery and hard life at its best. I was totally absorbed with the characters. Now I have to read the next book. While we are waiting to give it to my sister now Vickie is going to read it:)

On the first day of summer, Mara Jameson went out to water her garden -- and was never seen again. Years after her disappearance, no one could forget the expectant mother whose glowing smile had captured the heart of everyone who'd known her.
