Another good Jill Mansell book. I enjoyed reading, this one in the sun! It didn't catch much of a tan, but then neither did I!
I thought this book was enjoyable and since the success of my other rings with Jill Mansell books, I decided to bring this one back with me and set it off on a ring in the near future!

21 May 06: I am glad that only one of the New Year's resolutions was fulfilled:) Liza was by far my favorite character but Pru and Dulcie were also interesting. As for Marjorie...someone was needed to speak out loud the obvious, wasn't it?

This book made me laugh and was a nice way to escape from reality for a few hours.
However, I did find it a bit predictable. Even from the first chapter - given blaisezabini12's comment about the new year's resolutions, I guessed even then which one had been kept!
I'll post it on to Kera sometime in the next few days :)

Since this was my first try at a Mansell book, I wasn't sure what to expect. I had a hard time getting into it at first, but then it finally grabbed my interest and I hated to put it down. I'll be looking forward to reading more books by this author. Thanks Pinkagirl for including me in your ring.

received this bookray book in the mail yesterday from tania-in-nc of Mooresville, North Carolina. I will start reading this after I finish reading the Jill Mansell's book that I am currently reading (Sheer Mischief). When I am done with it, I will start a bookray so if anyone is interested, please let me know.
This was a really fun book to read. It was an interesting story line beginning with three friends meeting on New Year's Eve and making spontaneous resolutions. It is interesting to see how the ensuing year turns out for the three friends in regards to their resolutions.

Thank you for sharing with me. I really enjoyed the first part of the book, but then after a while I lost interest, and from the journal entries looks like I am the only one who did. So I've put this book on my TBR list and may read the book again sometime in the future, cause it may have just been my mood. I just don't want to hang on to the ring any longer, especially since I have two more Mansell rings here ready for me to read. Thanks again for including me.
