Blanche Cleans Up

Interesting and funny, but not Nobel material.
Released the book last night at the Meetup.
Caught this at a recent Boston meetup. I'm not a big mystery reader or fan in particular, but that's what I love about Bookcrossing and the meetups, you come across books you would never choose yourself. This was an interesting read, and the protagonist is definitely a feisty departure. Neely does a good description of the world through her eyes, and her opinions on everything social issues, including the racial issues that have divided Boston neighborhoods.
I picked this up at the Meetup. I've been reading some heavier things lately so this looks like a nice, light read.

Should have added this entry BEFORE the release notes, oh well.
I started it and got about 50 pages in and decieded it just wasn't for me. I liked the Boston setting but I didn't connect with the main character, Blanche, at all. Since my to be read pile is huge and getting bigger all the time, I deceided to release this one and hope the next reader enjoys it.
