I took the book out of the OBCZ and left some of mine instead, when I was in Munich for a short holiday. I am not a big Rosamunde Pilcher - Fan and this book didn´t make a difference. Still it is kind of a good bathtub-book, eventhough I didn´t read it there ;-)

Not quite my cup of tea, so I'm releasing it at a book-related function. I hope the next reader will appreciate it more!

I can not remember where i got this book from! It has been on my shelf for at least two years i think, one of those i never got around to read and considered to release without reading at all. I am glad i did'nt. I found it a very enjoyable. Pilcher is a new author to me, but i hope i get a chanse to read more of her work. The story of Penelope and her family is very well written, and i particulary found the storyline captivating. There's no big bravado, just exceptionally well portrayed people doing their best during everyday and extraordinary days. The characters are masterly developed, and i am going to miss Penelope and her family.
