Flora Scurrison is 32 years old and unhappy with how her life is turning out. At her best friend Tashy's wedding she comes face to face with her first boyfriend who she has not seen for sixteen years. He is the boy who broke her heart and she knows that she has never gotten over it.
As the cake is cut Flora makes a wish that she was sixteen years old again. The next morning she finds that she is but she hasn't gone back in time, she has just gone back in age and many things are still the same. But many are very different. Cue lots of hormones, homework and confusion. What unfolds is a surprisingly fresh and fun novel which can be both extremely amusing and touchingly poignant.
