Read this one for school when I was 18 :o) Feel like reading it again, since it made a great impact on me back then. After that it's to be released.

* Please PM the next person in line and send it off to them (Give the next reader a week to reply to your PM. If there's no reply, please PM me (so I can make a note in the list above) and then PM the next reader in line)
* If at all possible please try to read the book within 45 days (I don't care if it takes you longer to finish, but please PM me, so I won't worry)
* Most of all enjoy the book - - this is not a school assignment :)

This is a classic, and I am glad I got to read it again. It's not the kind of book I'd usually pick up. I like the fact that it's an autobiography. The mental traumas this women suffered in her early 20's are strange to read about, but somehow very interesting.
For some reason the image of the fig-tree has stayed with me since I read the book for the first time years ago. It's a good image for how life can sometimes stress you out!
This book will travel to pulcherrima within a few days and then the ray is off on its travels :) Best wishes - and I hope everyone will enjoy the book!

Journal Entry 4 by pulcherrima from Tommerup Stationsby, Fyns Amt Denmark on Saturday, September 2, 2006
I received this book yesterday and therefore just got it in time to bring it to my parents' place where I'm spending my weekend.
I'm quite busy with school and all at the moment, but I will put this on top of my non-school TBR pile.
Thank you so much for giving me the opportunity to read this classic :)
Unfortunately I haven't got neither the time nor the energy this book deserves. I hope I'll find another copy someday, so I can read it less superficially.

WILD RELEASE NOTES:
RELEASE NOTES:
Thank you! The Bell Jar is #1 on mount TBR, so I'll get to it soon :)
Please excuse me for keeping this book for so long. My youngest daughter was born in October and I've had almost no time to read since then. I was enjoying this book a lot and that's why I didn't send it to the next person in the ring earlier, but I guess I'm going to buy my own copy now and let the book move on...
I've already contacted flicki and will mail the book as soon as I have her address.

Ha! I just caught this book out of my mailbox on my way to Frankfurt! :o) Sorry, just came back today, so I couldn't journal any earlier! Anyway, hope you didn't suffer a heartattack in the meantime, Mie! ;-) I've already started reading, so I might even finish in time! ;-)
Thanks a lot for sending, letra!

So, I finally finished it. I'm afraid I would have liked the book more if I had had a chance to read it in one go - reading it while moving house kept me from following the train of thoughts which is probably very important. In this way, the plot went not very smoothly but in steps. Still, I liked the book and found especially the part about the electroshock therapy interesting. Having read Janet Frame, I didn't imagine it like this at all!
As far as I remember, I already have fairy-dust's address at my other home (the one without the internet). So I'll send the book out one of these days.
Once again, thanks for sharing this, Mie!

Oh, dear, I just saw that I haven't journaled when I sent this book on. I sent it over to the next person AGES AGO! Why hasn't it arrived yet? This was not even overseas!!?
