I found this good-condition trade paperback in the swap shop of Nashua's Four Hills landfill/recycle center. Looks to be the account of a victim of Multiple Personality Disorder, a somewhat controversial ailment despite such popular accounts as those "Sybil" and "Three Faces of Eve".

WILD RELEASE NOTES:

RELEASE NOTES:

I donated this book to the Aaron Cutler Memorial Library's 24/7 "porch sale" - there are tables full of books for sale around the clock! (If you stop by when the library's closed you can leave your payment in envelopes provided, otherwise pay inside.) The sale's continuing 'til October 15 so check it out! [For more information click here - it's a link to the library's blog, with directions, news about upcoming events, and other fun things.]

Oh - I left this book among the other non-fiction, somewhere near the right end of the table. But if you don't find it there are lots of other good books available, and at 50 cents a hardcover and 25 cents for paperbacks it's a good deal! [Yes, I bought more books. You had to ask?]

I bought this book at one of the Aaron Cutler Memorial Library book sales, brought it home in a stack and stored it in my basement "library" for future reading. According to its release history, four years have now passed and that's a little embarrassing, but you know how it is...so much to read, so little time :) I didn't notice the bookcrossing sticker until I picked it up to read a few days ago. The little lost lamb in now found :)

I was fascinated by this book and am tempted to keep it in my little stash of multiple personality disorder books. Back during my freshman year at college, Billy Milligan was a patient at the Athens Mental Health Center, which is/was next to the OU campus in Athens OH. Occasionally he was released on a day pass and I would see him around town. Yes it was creepy and weird, especially since his crimes consisted of attacking women at nearby OSU. I had already read Sybil, so I got a copy of The Minds of Billy Milligan and read that. Over the years I've been drawn to other multiple personality stories (When Rabbit Howls - Trudi Chase comes immediately to mind) and that's the reason I picked this book up in the first place.

Some day I may change my mind and release it...we'll see :)
