Classic 1970 "semi-hard" SF novel. (Hm, why am I thinking of _Playgirl_ suddenly?)
Although this novel is part of Niven's "Known Space" series, like the Cheese, it stands alone. Plus, in this first printing, Niven has the Earth rotating the wrong way in Chapter 1. Might be worth something someday, if it's not now...
