It is a facinating book, why are we here? I am not entirely sure that I got it, but it was a great journey.

reading this at an embarassingly slow pace, so I just dropped in here to make sure no new person had popped up on the ring. If you just want it back -now-, please say and I'll buy my own copy rather tha holding this one up.

I've finally finished this in dribs and drabs, as the subject matter is dense, but intensely interesting. Please email me your address at esther dot kiehl at rbs dot co dot uk and I'll post it back to you. Thanks again for bearing with me!

“The Blind Watchmaker” (Richard Dawkins) makes an eloquent argument in favour of evolution and against Creationism. It’s lucidly written, but very dense and detailed, so it required slow reading. He’s being less witty and more wordy than he was in “The Selfish Gene”, and I longed to become impatient with this volume. However, interesting facts always drew me back, and I read it in fits and starts since the beginning fo the year. A nice one to have to hand when you fancy arguing religion with people on your doorstep.
