Ohoh, the book was long forgotten behind other books on my bookshelf. Now I read it and enjoyed enormously. At first it bothered me a little that I have read some of the later books and remembered what happens after these days, but then I forgot that.
I have another book of ths series on my book shelf. I'll read it next. I know one who is wishng for this book.
By the way, the illustration by Wendy Wray are wonderful. I enjoyed them as much I did enjoy the book.

Somehow it took me quite a long time before I could really get into this book, but at the end I enjoyed it a lot and I'm going to start the second of the series now.
