This book was inspired by Moon's experience with her own autistic child, and it takes a plausable near-future look at autism through the eyes of one of the last living people with un-"cured" Asperger's syndrome.
The ending may seem too tidy at first read, but look again o there's a very creepy subtext to that last chapter....
