Every Dead Thing

It took me a while to get into this one and I almost gave up. I found there to be a lot of insignificant and unnecessary characters at the beginning but they did all come into play by the end. Also I'm not much into the 'organized crime/crime underworld' scene but it moved beyond this later on. Being honest. I'm not entirely sure if I like the lead character or not yet... he's done some not so nice things in his past, but you do end up with some sympathy for him. I did enjoy the plot line and there are really 2 stories going on.... the immediate mystery, and the personal quest mystery. I will read the next one.

Giving to another bookcrosser at the Dublin August meet up.
Received this from House Elf. Thanks.

Let me know if you would like me to move this along.

I pinched this off SirRoy to read towards the end of my pregnancy when I needed something different to read other than pregnancy and labour information and magazines!!
I even read it in hospital having given birth to Lillian Drew, who clocked in at a mammoth 9lb 12.5oz :)
I have only just finished it, which I guess means it takes the record for the longest ever duration book, LOL!
In spite of losing the plot totally in between reads, what with the lack of sleep, anaesthetic and general lack of time, I actually really enjoyed this book.
Will give back to SirRoy to read, not that he has any more time than me, being Lillian's daddy!
:)
Cheers HouseElf!
