Just opened my Secret Santa present (why just now? long story not worth the telling!) and found this wonderful book. I love this series - read them as a kid, and wanted so desperately to read them again that I managed to get a copy of it by trade in mid-December! (How did I know that the one book I took off the wish list then would be the one that my secret santa had already gotten me? Always the way!) It's quite nice to have gotten this copy now, since I've already passed on the one I got from Llednyl (http://www.bookcrossing.com/journal/3137773/miriam2/book_-The-Dark-Is-Rising-Susan-Cooper) and I've been raving to friends about how wonderful this series is - since this is an excellent introduction to the Dark Is Rising series, it's good to have another one to pass on (and I think I know who to pass it on to, too). Thanks!

I found a copy of this in my brother's stash, so I'll let this copy travel a little instead; it may not get journaled again, but on the other hand, it could happen...
Headed to Alabama - possibly for classroom use.
