Bodies That Matter: On the Discursive Limits of Sex

I liked this book a lot, while I haven't read any of Judith Butlers other works (and I've heard they are better in some respects) this one seems to deal with some of the core theoretical issues. It is a book that is disjointed and round-about but carries a picture of what it means to constitute an identity throughout. The core themes are on what is always excluded in identity construction and how norms gain force through reiteration.
