Received this as a RABCK from DreamSE22. Thanks for being so generous.
OK. I didn't think I would like this book, because I do not usually read romance novels. The first two chapters were slow and boring, but after that I could not put it down. Once Claire touches the rock and ends up in 1743, its full of action, history and of course romance. I loved the charaters and found it to be a great escapist, guilty pleasure read.
I hate to admit it, but I will be looking for the rest in the series for breaks in my "serious" reading.

On its way to AngelersRest as part of the "Whatever Strikes Your Fancy" bookrelay.
Arrived yesterday. Thanks for sending. Looking forward to reading this one.
Well, it was 864 wonderful pages. I was so sad as I neared the end of the book and I am delighted that I am in a spiral for the rest of the series. It was such an amazing book, as the central character is brought to life, as she lives her double life, first in 1945 then in 1743. A cross between historical, romance & fantasy its a beautiful read, and will appear as one of my top reads for the year.
Reserved for my NSS Valentine partner.
Sent off to my NSSVS partner. (Actually posted 2 weeks or so ago, but I forgot to journal it) Hope you enjoy it.
