The best part about this book is drawing the connections between applied mathematics and physical applications. Particularly the relevance of chaos to work with the vagaries of fluid mechanics.
The prose is well written and it is mostly easy to follow. I would need to spend much more time to decipher the nuances of the Poincare mappings.
