Death du Jour

A friend just gave this book to me. I've enjoyed Kathy Reichs before, and hope to read this one before my first grandchildren are born.
Much, much better than I had ever anticipated. Though at times the anthropological stuff gets a little overdone, and Tempe Brennan's pseudo-romance with Detective Andrew Ryan is way too hokey and predictable, the rest of this book speeds along at a furious pace. The suspenseful and involved mystery unravels nicely. Very impressive indeed.
