Sadly, this book is not for me. It has sat on my TBR pile for many months, and I've been saving it for when I have time to read it at leisure and enjoy it.Alas, it was not to be - I couldn't get into it and didn't enjoy the few chapters that I did read, so it's going on a journey to find a more appreciative reader.

Thanks for sending this book purple-pixie, and sorry for taking so long to journal it.

It's a bit of a marathon read for some reason! I'm feeling like I'm wading through it, but all the same I'm quite enjoying learning lots of new things about the capital!

I'm on the Light Blues at the moment, so that makes me 13/17ths of the way through.

Hurrah, finished it! Appropriately enough on the train back after spending two days in London. Lovely view of Tower Bridge from my hotel, but no chance to see anything else!

Just got back after a month of travelling and was very happy to find this nestled amongst the pile of bills I had to go through! Hopefully it'll inspire me to do a bit of exploration in this country for a change - in fact it's probably a longer journey to London these days than it is to the continent (that's what comes from living in the back of beyond I guess!!!)
