Donated to Bookcrossing by my husband, who found it very absorbing and creative. I'm not going to read this one, but I see several BCers who have it on their wish lists. I'd be interested in getting a book ray started; just not yet.

Jonathan Strange and Mr. Norrell left today on a leisurely cruise to New Zealand. Bon Voyage!

This is wonderful!
This book has been on my wishlist for a while and was sent to me all the way from California.
The size of the book is huge and it is a hardcover. This was the first time the postman did not even attempt to fit it in the mailbox, he delivered it to the front door.
I will save this one until my long weekend off work, the last weekend of November.
The book has taken quite a while to arrive here. The good thing about this is that it arrived in the week of my 33rd birthday...thank you so much for your present FeralReader.

Help!
I read this book over a year ago and apparently did not journal it!
I remember being fascinated and absorbed by this powerfull story, especially at the start of the book. I loved the feeling that I was reading actual magical history. Everything is so detailed with all the footnotes that I wanted to read it as a real story, not fantasy.
The relationship between Norrell and Strange is fascinating, first master and pupil, then allies and rivals.
It is a long read and I remember at times I wanted it to stop but then the story line dragged me back in again.

Again Feralreader, thank you for posting this 2(?)kg book to me, that was very kind. I just carried it with me all the way from New Zealand to the Netherlands to give it to my friend eMeReS. Funny coincidence, I will pass this book on to her next week when I visit her for her birthday-I just read in my last journal that I received it on my birthday as well!!

This impressive looking book has had quite a journey I see. It sounds very interesting, I picked it out in January when I was in New Zealand, but already had too many souvenirs to carry along.
Very nice to receive it now on my birthday, thank you Pluisje for bringing it to this side of the world.
I hope to find some time to dig into this, it might take a while. But when i have read it I will journal my thoughts and do my best to find a new reader (perhaps another birthday present).
Thanks for sharing!
