This is where Jilly Cooper's blockbusters start to go downhill. It's a great story, but there are just too many characters to keep track of - do we really need five pages of them? As far as I can see, any book that needs to list its characters at the beginning, has too many of them!
Still, it's good fun - glamorous women, sexy Argentinians, handsome army officers, lustful schoolgirls, randy grooms....
