When Sabine Dardenne was 12 years old, she was kidnapped by Marc Dutroux, a paedophile, and subjected to a horrifying imprisonment and series of sexual assualts.

Sabine spent 80 days locked in a dismal cellar, only allowed to come out when her evil captor wants to 'put himself through his paces' as she puts it.

This is a story of the very worst side of human nature, and, how good can shine through in the end. I can't imagine the terror and horror this young girl must have felt, and the strength of character that she posessed to come through her ordeal is truly remarkable.
