This is one of the best, if not THE best Star Wars novel that I have ever read. First, of all, it's not about Luke, Leia, or Han Solo. In fact, I don't think any of these characters even make a personal appearance in this book. Second, it's written in the first person (hence, I imagine, the title.) Both of these facts are unusual for Star Wars novels, and make this book rather refreshing. Third, I also enjoy the sense of humor the author sometimes shows, such as when the main character is caught in an awkward situation and is asked, "Where is the rest of your speeder bike?" And finally, that Corran Horn is one good looking Jedi.
In all, a very good Star Wars book.
