I had never heard of Robinson and at first sight I didn't know what to expect. So it was a pleasant surprise to find out that this book is much more than just funny. The relationship between Thomas and his grandfather is beautiful. I like the way this books helps you look at the world through the eyes of a young adolescent. Robinson is said to adore Dickens and he seems to have learnt alot from him. Nice prose. A very good read, I hope the finder will enjoy it as much as I've done.

Hoera! Ik heb een boek gevonden! Ik woon vlakbij het Westerpark en zag dat er net een boek gereleased was, dus ik snel het park in en jawel! Hij lag er nog. Ik ga erin beginnen zodra ik al m'n ringboeken heb gehad.
