Picked this up at last Sundays brunch meetup, I haven't read this one of Anita Shreve's. I find that I've only liked some of hers so I'll see how I go.
Following on from the last journal entry I haven't gone very well, started reading this last week and got about 40 pages in and that was a struggle. For some reason this book is not grabbing and at the moment I have to much on to persist with reading.
I think this is only the second time that I have given up on a book...

I took this away from the February meetup and can finally catch it as we have atm last had the internet connected at our new address. Hope it will be better than other readers have indicated!
Another great book by Anita Shreve. I love the way she weaved two stories together - her unravelling marriage and impending tragedy with the story of the murdered Norwegian women. I read this book whilst walking in the Lakes District in England - a gripping story which I read in a couple of nights.
