This is a fun book. It's nicely divided, beginning with Proverbs, then Idioms, English (terms) and so on, with a clear explanation about the item. "A penny saved is a penny earned," "tall tale," "antonym," and on to history, geography, music, art and lots of pictures and maps. It's usable as an actual dictionary, but better still, two or three topics would make for fine dinner conversation.
