This book was a very kind gift from Gizmopuddy when I inquire if I should read Flowers in the Attic in a thread.

It arrived in Albuquerque sometime between August 8 and August 12 (I was on a business trip). I plan to add to the top of MT TBR.

I am eager to read as I had a friend who was very into this series while I was in college and based on the discussion in the BC thread.

It was a quick read and I enjoyed it although not enough to seek all the other book in the series. The thoughts of people being that cruel to children is very frightening. I understand now why friends where so wrapped up in the books.
