A paperback I got as a present long ago. Anyone who has read Grisham before knows the style. The book tells a story of a young lawyer who gets a case against a giant insurance company whose policy caused a young man's death. There is a girl in the story, too. I enjoyed this book, it's language and everything. However, the movie based on this book is not good at all, if you ask me.

Pehmeäkantinen, jonka olen joskus saanut lahjaksi. (Kirjasta on olemassa suomennos nimellä Sateentekijä.)
Taattua Grishamia hänet tunteville lukijoille. Kirja kertoo vastavalmistuneesta lakimiehestä Rudy Baylorista, joka saa hoidettavakseen jutun suurta ja vaikutusvaltaista vakuutusfirmaa vastaan. Mukana myös sivujuoni tytöstä, kuinkas muuten. Minä pidin tästä. Luultavasti en olisi pitänyt yhtä paljon suomenkielisenä, vaikken osaakaan selittää miksi...ehkä vain nautin Grishamin englannista...Elokuvaversiosta en pidä yhtään!

A friend of mine spotted the book on a table in Formia, but let me go and get it instead (making this the first book I've caught in the wild). I'm intending to read it in the near future.

Hurrah, this made my day! :)

The first Grisham I've ever read, and I have to admit I had my prejudices... but it turned out okay. A tad long-winding, in my opinion, and the female lead is an annoyably stereotypical noble victim, but all in all, an enjoyable, entertaining read. Very movie-like (although I haven't seen the actual film based on it).

The book will be going to New Zealand next, I believe.

Got this from oollah after I emailed a studentlist asking for books I could take travelling with me around Europe. Will probably start reading it either in the train from Oulu-Helsinki, or Helsinki-Moscow.

Got the book in Oulu, read it and liked it, made some boring hours bright, i hope the next person will like it as well. It`s now in Germany near Stuttgart but I`ll probably leave it in Munich.

CAUGHT IN OULU FINLAND
