Picked this up from a thrift store. In the to be read pile......

This is the second Koontz novel I've read and although I enjoyed it, it is so unlike the first I read (The Funhouse). It was a lot more SciFi than I expected but definitely in an OK way. I didn't realize this has a prequel to it but you don't need one to read the other. I especially liked the characters in this one and the dialogue was quite funny even under the grimmest of circumstances.
