2 journalers for this copy...
Since all the talk of the new movie that just came out, I've been thinking I wanted to read this book. I lucked upon a copy at a yardsale this morning. A little ragged(well-loved?), but well worth the 10 cents! LOL
Quick read. This part cracked me up....
"What on earth do you use whips for?"
"For whipping cream of course," said Mr Wonka. "How can you whip cream without whips? Whipped cream isn't whipped at all unless it's been whipped with whips. Just as a poached egg isn't a poached egg unless it's been stolen from the woods in the dead of the night!"
Sending to tempestsans in trade.
