I had no idea that this had been on TV - would be interesting to know how they covered this. A fascinating thriller, drawing on torture instruments from the Inquisition, but for me I feel it may have crossed just over my personal barriers of gruesomeness for entertainment . I don't read these books for images from them to keep popping up in my mind for weeks afterwards. And I had an inkling of the secret revealed at the end early on - most unlike me!
