I haven't read this book but my father had. He said to me he really enjoyed this book very much. I love to read it but I have too many books at home. There have series that I will bring them too.

Yeah! I've read 'Spartan' & 'The Talisman of Troy' by this author, and was looking out for this trilogy in charity shops. You've saved me the search Kazeh, what a lucky find.
Easy way to be entertained and learn a little history too. Have now loaned this to my mother, then may ring when I've read the other two.
