I enjoyed this. The main characters were likable and the supporting characters were interesting. I didn't figure out the mystery before the end, either.

I wanted to like this more than I did - I found it too similar to the DMD series (even to the sleuth-in-the-hospitality -biz ends up with cop boyfriend/husband) which I think are better written. The character of Renie, the cousin, drove me crazy, she seemed too much of a dimwit.
