Piano Girl

This book will go as a surprise to Miss-Lizzy and after that - on special request - to Buchschlucker.
It is a marvellous book! The real story of a "piano girl", a woman retracing her career as a professional piano player in Hotels and the like. Funny, full of anecdotes and other surprising stories. With quite some insight in the showbiz-world - especially from Pittsburg, from where the piano girl comes. Of course, there are quite some referrals to TV shows from the sixties and seventies - all american. But nevertheless, it is a really fascinating book. So, the two of you - for now - read it, enjoy it and send it on to some other bookcrosser who will enjoy it too! And thanks for your help!
The book goes now by mail - as a surprise - to Miss-Lizzy.

Thanks to book-man who sent this book to me. I received it yesterday and was quite surprised. I think I'll start reading it soon since I haven't got any rings or rays to read at the moment. Afterwards I'll pass it on of course.
Maybe I'll learn some useful and important things about being a piano girl which will help me to decide about my future ;)

A really entertaining book! I liked Robin's writing style and she tells a lot of funny and also interesting anecdotes. You learn the weirdest things about showbiz and about the weirdest people that she's met during her cocktail-lounge piano player career.
I hope Buchschlucker will enjoy it as much as I did. Thanks again to book-man-8 for sending it to me.
