Animal Dreams
4 journalers for this copy...
Having thoroughly enjoyed Kingsolver's novel, "The Poisonwood Bible," and later liking "Prodigal Summer" and "The Bean Trees," I acquired this one. Evidently capricious, I've left this book on a shelf for several years while reading many others. It's time it moved on and found a more appreciative reader.
Reserved for a BC friend, LindyLouMac.
On its way to Italy!
Arrived 24.08.05, thankyou FeralReader. I enjoyed the Posionwood Bible so am looking forward to reading another novel by this author.
It has taken since the end of August for this title to reach the top of Mt TBR as it kept getting pushed down again by bookrings and rays which have to take priority. At last I got to it and it was a refreshing read. Life set in Arizona with a complete different set of problems, than those she left behind in the city. Though of no less importance to the main character Codi who is struggling to find herself. She has returned to her hometown and confronts her past head on finding it difficut to dream Animal Dreams.
Unless this title is requested I am planning to release it sometime during December!
