Everyone always puts 1984 and Brave New World in the same breath, so while I read 1984 years ago I just got to Brave New World. It was a decent book full of social commentary and an important book to read, but perhaps I didn't enjoy it as much as I should have because it had been hyped up to me. I still recommend it because its also a fast read, and because it serves as a springboard to question one's own society and part in it.

Edited: I finished the book today, rather naughty because i stopped reading my other book to read this one, I couldn't help myself it was soo gripping, and easy to read. It certainly wasn't what I was expecting, but it was wonderful none the less. I really enjoyed this book, thank you mepwave for sending it to me. I have a friend who wants to read this, which is why I have changed the status of the book (my friend doesn't have the internet) once she's finished with it, I'll mark it as available and hopefully someone else will get the joy of reading this. :D
